Biriuzovoe Ozherelie (The Turquoise Necklace)
Koksinsk region is renown for its lakes. There are 42 lakes only in Multinsk knot. We will take a look as these lakes from the top of the summit of 3035 m height above the sea level, descend down to the lakes and swim in their life-giving waters…

The initial day-to-day schedule of the itinerary:

Day 0 – arrival of the group, placement, dinner
Day 1 - 21 km – camp (1180 m) – Kuiguk lake (1984 m). Taiga ends abruptly with giant cedars right at Kuiguk waterfall… and milky-turquoise surface of the lake above the waterfall.
Day 2 - 21 km – a well- known Multinsk Lake – tender and warm with excellent beach (1627m). We will take a swim and move upstream Multa Proezdnaya River.
Day 3 - 26 km – cross over Kholodnyi Belok, camp on the bank of Sobachia Tikhaia River (The Dog Still River).
Day 4 - 31 km – many ascents to the clouds and descents to the valleys before the path ends at Taimen Lake.
Day 5 – day of rest: fishing, Bania (bath). Taimen Lake – one of largest lakes in Altay located at 1516 m height above sea level. We will enjoy warm water and have grayling (fish).
Day 6 - 18 km – crossing over the highest on the itinerary pass and ascending to Tikhoe Lake. Excursion to Nameless Lake.
Day 7 - 10 km radial path to the summit at an elevation of 3035 m. The summits of the mountains always attract traveller souls. What a magnificent view of Katun ridge!
Day 8 - 29 km – passage through snug camp on the bank of Sobachia Tikhaia River.
Day 9 - 34 km – You will not be bored on this path. Descending to the forest bordering with Okol River bank.
Day 10 - 18 km – The last mountain pass – return to Camp by the path that lies along Mikhailovka River.
